  Location:  Session 1: Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church   

           Session 2: Bethany United Methodist Church in Summerville

Dates:        Session 1: June 23 - July 11

                     Session 2: July 21 - August 8             

 

Hours:       Camp will be conducted from Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm.

 

Transportation:   Families provide transportation to and from camp.  We provide transportation for the field trips.

 

Criteria:     Children ages 1-12 years old who have multiple and\or severe disabilities:  Physical impairments, visual, hearing, cognitive impairments.  We cannot accept children whose primary diagnosis is autism or behavioral disorders because we will not have the staffing to provided the constant one on one supervision that many of these children deserve. Children accepted to the summer program must be able to tolerate 3 hours of therapy per day. 

 

Cost:          $150 Weekly.    Costs include snacks, field trips, crafts and therapy services (as long as therapists are able to bill Medicaid or private insurance.)  HOWEVER, WE DO NOT TURN A CHILD AWAY BECAUSE OF A FAMILY’S INABILITY TO PAY.  IF A CHILD IS ACCEPTED, WE WILL WORK WITH FAMILIES AND COMMUNITY RESOURCES TO FIND FUNDING!
