For 2010, we would like to expand our services to include children who are older. This may mean operating two camps concurrently or offering fewer weeks to each age range. We are currently considering our staffing options and anticipate the following needs. We have VERY ACTIVE high-energy days and applicants must be able to lift 40-50 pounds, maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times, and understand that all children can learn and deserve every opportunity to participate in each activity offered. Physical Therapists Physical Therapy Aid Occupational Therapist 8 Positions Available : 6 week positions Hours: 8:30 am - 5 pm Pay scale: Depends upon experience • Must have valid and current SC OT license • Work with a multi-disciplinarian team serving special needs children • Integrated educational and rehabilitation approach to treatment • NDT and SI experience would be beneficial • Willing to assist with ALL aspects of the children's care, including hygiene • Proper lifting is required - up to 50 pounds • Demonstrate a good energy level • Complete daily progress notes and treatment notes • Assist with maintaining and cleaning equipment • Infant\child CPR and First Aid training Send Cover Letter And Resume Occupational Therapy Aid 8 Position Available: 6 weeks Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30pm Pay scale: Depends upon experience • Work in a multi-disciplinarian team serving special needs children • Assist OTs with adaptive equipment and positioning • Be able to properly lift children and equipment - 40 or 50 pounds • Demonstrate a good energy level • Be able to follow directions • Great opportunity for high school or college student interested in therapy • Assist Occupational Therapist with daily progress notes and treatment notes • Would consider as a clinical site for a PT or PTA student • Assist with maintaining and cleaning equipment • Willing to assist with ALL aspects of the children's care, including hygiene • Infant\child CPR and First Aid training Send Cover Letter And Resume Teacher Teacher's Assistants Volunteer support positions also available.
