For 2010, we would like to expand our services to include children who are older.  This may mean operating two camps concurrently or offering fewer weeks to each age range.  We are currently considering our staffing options and anticipate the following needs. 

We have VERY ACTIVE high-energy days and applicants must be able to lift 40-50 pounds, maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times, and understand that all children can learn and deserve every opportunity to participate in each activity offered.

Physical Therapists
4 Positions Available : 5 week positions
Hours: 8:30 am - 5 pm
Pay scale: Depends upon experience
• Must have valid and current SC PT license
• Work with a multi-disciplinarian team serving special needs children
• Integrated educational and rehabilitation approach to treatment
• NDT would be beneficial
• Willing to assist with ALL aspects of the children's care, including hygiene
• Proper lifting is required - must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Demonstrate a good energy level
• Complete daily progress notes and treatment notes
• Assist with maintaining and cleaning equipment
• Infant\child CPR and First Aid training

• Assist PT with adaptive equipment and positioning
• Be able to properly lift children and equipment - up to 40 or 50 pounds

• Be able to follow directions
• Great opportunity for high school or college student interested in therapy
• Assist Physical Therapist with daily progress notes and treatment notes
• Would consider as a clinical site for a PT or PTA student
• Assist with maintaining and cleaning equipment
• Willing to assist with ALL aspects of the children's care, including hygiene
• Infant\child CPR and First Aid training

• Work in a multi-disciplinarian team serving special needs children and coordinate activities and schedules with a variety of highly trained professionals
• Be able to properly lift children and equipment - up to 50 pounds
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and good energy level
• Establish cirriculum with age appropriate activities
• Willing to assist with ALL aspects of the children's care, including hygiene
• Assist with daily progress notes
• Assist with maintaining and cleaning equipment
• Infant\child CPR and First Aid training
• Special education experience is helpful, but not necessary.
