Pattison's Academy
Pattison's Academy and Summer Camp is developing in 4 phases. Currently we are in phase three of this
development plan.
The School-Pattison's Academy for Comprehensive
Education
The school will offer exceptional team-based, academics and pediatric therapy and
rehabilitation for children with multiple and severe disabilities in grades spanning from Kindergarten to
8th. The students will participate in community based instruction, field trips, and outside therapy
services that are not typically offered in the area's public schools or in traditional medical facilities. No
facility in the tri-county area offers the type of all-inclusive, parent friendly and potential-maximizing services
(educationally and medically) that Pattison's Academy will offer.
We operated a 4 week summer camp in 2006 and served 14 children. In 2009, we expanded our program to operate for 5 weeks served 44 children.
Pattison's Academy Summer Camp provides therapy, enrichment and FUN for the children and a nice break for the
care givers of these children. For 2009, we had over 60 applications and served 44 children over the course
of 5 weeks. If you are interested in sending your child to our summer program, please complete an
application on-line or download
application now. We are assessing areas for growth (age range, disabilities, locations, duration)
so please complete an application to ensure that you are on our mailing lst and so we may assess the greatest
areas of need. We cannot serve your child if we don't know he or she is out there.
